Children’s Ministry

Our vision for our Children’s Ministries is to surround every child with the love of Christ. We endeavor to ground them in sound biblical teaching, encourage intimacy with God, and equip them to advance the kingdom of God through their gifting.

Classes for children ages 3 years old through 5th grade are offered during the morning service. The 1st Sunday of each month though, is considered “Family Worship Sunday” and children in 1st through 5th grade join their parents for worship in the sanctuary. After communion, the children are dismissed to their class. There is no variation in class meeting time for our 3 year old through kindergarten.

Lamb’s Kids: For children ages 3 through kindergarten. We are currently using the Gospel Light Curriculum which is an exciting hands-on study filled with age appropriate lessons and fun activities. During class children also have worship, snacks, and crafts.

King’s Kids: For children in 1st through 5th grade. We enjoy a time of worship and biblical lessons together.  Fun activities reinforce each lesson and teach children how to apply the lesson to their lives. Children also enjoy snack and fellowship with their peers.

High School

“He saved us-not by works of righteousness that we had done, but according to His mercy, through the washing of regeneration and renewal by the Holy Spirit.”  (Titus 3:5)

Re:generation is making disciples–disciplined Christ-followers–who know/follow God’s word and experience Christ daily so that, “you may become blameless and pure children of God without fault in a warped and crooked generation.  Then you will shine among them like stars in the sky.” (Phil. 2:15)

Re:generation ministry follows a four-step plan to ensure that the spiritual needs of each individual young person is being met through: Recreational Fellowship, Devotional Fellowship, Core Meetings, and Targeted Discipleship.  The goal of each step is for every young person to continue moving toward the bullseye of targeted discipleship while becoming an active part of a life-giving, joyful, Christ-centered community.

Re:gen meets on Sunday mornings following praise and worship, two Friday nights per month, and one Sunday morning (breakfast before church) for discipleship.  For more information contact Brian or Jennie Humann using our contact form.

Hospitality

Media Ministry

The media ministry uses our creative and technical skills to bless the church.

Team members support worship during our services, help to connect with our community through our website and facebook page, and communicate the gospel’s impact on their lives through contributions to our BLOG.

Men's Ministry

The primary vehicle of ministry for our “Ministry of Men” is the Life Long Discipleship Group. Which you will recognize by the name, is on-going. Our mantra for the LLDG is “W.A.L.K in the Integrity of the Call”. Our core-value as a group will be becoming/being Disciples of Christ. Our vision as a group is “To equip every man with a comprehensive understanding, and a credible example of authentic discipleship, in order to empower them to fulfill their life’s callings.” We’ll do this by exploring the life of Christ and the methods He used to disciple others, such as questions and answers, discussions, memorization, and Jesus’ commissioning of His followers to go and make other disciples.

Middle School

Chosen (Middle School)

Chosen is comprised of a diverse and dynamic group of young people who are on a continuing journey of faith that encompasses Worship, Evangelism, Discipleship, Fellowship, and Ministry. The leadership team of Chosen is a collaboration of seasoned believers from all walks of life who have a heart for today’s youth and a passion for ministering out of God’s heart towards them. As a group, we have come to recognize that all true believers are a holy priesthood; sacred to God, serviceable to others, endowed with heavenly gifts and graces. Having been called into fellowship with God through Christ, we are determined to show the praises of our Lord by our profession of His truth, and our conduct.

Chosen meets regularly on Sunday mornings from 10:00 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. Exceptions to our meeting schedule are 1st Sundays, which is communion Sunday, as well as other special services and days. These special services and days will be placed in the church’s bulletin a week prior to their date.

The program is relevant, in that it addresses issues and concerns of matters of faith on your student’s level while offering them answers from God’s perspective. It’s comprehensive, in that it incorporates all the fundamental components of the Christian Worship Service. It’s engaging, in that it appeals to every learning style from the imaginative learner, the analytical learner, the commonsense learner, to the dynamic learner. Finally, it’s biblically sound, in that it continually references the Bible while referring your student to the Bible for God’s answer to many of life’s questions.

Nursery

Nursery Ministry

The Nursery Team believes that children are able to have a personal, meaningful and valid relationship with Jesus Christ with the support and direction from their parents and adults in their lives. We strive to provide a place for children to participate and grow as functional members of the Body of Christ. For more information contact Randy or Natalie Punzel using our contact form.

Outreach

Our primary outreach ministry here at the Vineyard is known as Streetlight Community Outreach Ministries. StreetLight’s goal is to demonstrate God’s love by providing practical assistance for impoverished families and homeless men and women.

We serve this population through our pantry service, a weekly community outreach dinner, financial aid for crisis needs, and supportive housing. In addition, we reach out to teens from impoverished homes through our “At-Risk Youth” Program. To find out more, you can visit StreetLight’s website: http://TheStreetLight.org

Prayer

Prayer Ministries

The Prayer Ministries of the Pathway Vineyard are committed to advancing the Kingdom of God. The following is an outline of the of areas we focus on in prayer.

Intercessory Prayer Ministry: The Intercessory Prayer Ministry group meets Sunday mornings in room #202 at 8:45 a.m. and every second Friday of each month at 7:30 p.m. in room #206. These meetings are open to everyone. Please consider joining us for a powerful time of worship and prayer.

Altar Call Ministry: The Altar Call Ministry team members are committed to serve during Sunday morning services by praying for the immediate needs of those responding to the message, or for healing, deliverance, or salvation.

Soaking Prayer: Soaking prayer is a form of focused prayer dedicated to waiting in the presence of God for specific guidance and revelation from the Holy Spirit for the needs of the person receiving prayer. During a select period of 4 weeks, a team of at least four committed believers will devote their time to interceding daily as well as meeting together as a group at least once a week with the person receiving prayer.

Sound

Sound Ministry

The Sound Team is a group of servants who oversee and operate the audio equipment needed for our weekend celebrations and other special events. Our team provides sound for front of house (what the audience hears). They also record all of our teachings. It’s a lot of fun and a great way to help people each weekend experience the powerful and loving presence of God. Come join us! No experience is required to get started: we will train you.

Women's Ministry

Led by a team of multi-generational women, the Vineyard offers a variety of opportunities to women of all ages, in all walks of life. We get to know one another better and pray with and for each other, and together, learn who God has called us to be. We encourage women to integrate the life of following hard after God with whatever the routine of their daily lives is. Whether it’s jobs and careers, husbands and children (or grandchildren), loneliness or relationships, we’re here to stand with you through all the challenges that come along. We sponsor activities that bring us closer to God and to each other. These include Bible studies, brunches, retreats, fun gatherings, and even impromptu potluck meals. Come join us – your ideas are welcome and we would love your friendship! Feel free to get in touch with us using our contact form.

Worship

Worship Ministry

We gather together on Sunday mornings to experience God’s dynamic presence in an uplifting environment. We focus our attention on God, giving Him our worship and receiving His blessing and spiritual refreshment. These gatherings help enlarge our perspective of God and make us realize that we are part of something much larger than ourselves. Typically, we start our services by expressing our love and thanks to God through a variety of music.

We are always looking for talented people to lead worship, both new musicians and singers for our growing number of teams. And there is a continuing need for people to lead worship in our Life Groups. It’s a great way to get started!
